Arvo
Leibur (violin) Estonian trio Arvo Leibur (violin), Terje Terasmaa (vibrafon) and Heiki Mätlik (classical & el. guitar), have been playing together since 1995. They have performed different concert programs such as Campanella (The music of N. Paganini), Viva Espana (Sarasate, de Falla, Granados, Albeniz), Grand Cafe (Brahms, Monte, Popy, Kreisler, Joplin etc.) and Tango King Astor Piazzolla. Three of these programs are recorded on CDs (Viva Espana & Tango King Astor Piazzolla, Drama). The Tango King Astor Piazzolla won a first price in classical music category in Competition of labels 2000 of Estonian Records industry. On the concert tours abroad (Norwey, Sweden, Denmark, Holland) they usually play also Estonian contemporary music (Arvo Part, Veljo Tormis, Lepo Sumera, Erkki-Sven Tüür, Ester Magi, Raimo Kangro). |
